O.P Jewellery presents the collection SKATA SKATA – a collaboration with Stockholm-based artist Ragnar Persson, launching online and in-store on 20 November 2025.

The collection celebrates the Nordic mythical bird — the magpie — and the feather, both rich in symbolism and story. The magpie carries a long history of myths and meanings across cultures, while the feather has long represented freedom, luck, and craftsmanship, from Native American traditions to Japanese practices. Here, they return with a Nordic touch, with the mythical magpie as the core inspiration.

“We’ve followed Ragnar’s work for many years and have always loved it. His art has this perfect balance between cool, odd, and precise — a kind of interesting perfection. To create a collection together is a true honour. Our shared fascination with the myths around the magpie — a creature that’s been part of O.P’s story from the start — made the collaboration feel natural,” says Ola, co-founder of O.P Jewellery.

Captured by Vogue Scandinavia photographer Kristian Bengtsson and featuring artist Cilla Ramnek, the campaign reflects honesty and passion for the creative process, with all images taken in Ragnar’s Stockholm studio.

The 10-piece jewellery collection, created by O.P Jewellery and Ragnar Persson, is accompanied by a wool blanket and bandana developed and made by Indigofera, blending craftsmanship, artistry, and shared Nordic storytelling. The collection will be available online, in selected stores, and at the O.P Jewellery Stockholm boutique from the 20^th November.
